Mr. Elliott was elected a director of Aderis Pharmaceuticals in 2004. Mr. Elliott currently serves as Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Private Equity for MDS Capital Corp and President of MDS Ventures Pacific Inc. (MDS). Mr. Elliott worked for approximately nine years, prior to August 1998, with Royal Bank Capital Corporation (RBCC) as Regional Vice-President and founder Managing Director of its Life Sciences fund. Mr. Elliott obtained a BA (Hons) Economics degree from the University of South Africa (Pretoria) in 1974 and has over 32 years of merchant banking, venture capital and related business operations experience. During this period, he has served on a number of boards of directors, which now includes several public and private companies, such as Cognetix, Inc, Isotis SA, Phytogen Life Sciences Inc., Protiva Biotherapeutics Inc., Adnavance Technologies Inc., and as Chairman of the Boards of Directors, of Neuromed Technologies, Inc., Inex Biopharmaceuticals Corp. and Chromos Molecular Systems, Inc.

Wayne Roe brings more than 25 years of expertise in dealing with health policy trends, reimbursement, pharmacoeconomics and new medical technology assessment. He has served as a member of the Congressional Office of Technology Assessment, the Institute of Medicine and the Health Care Financing Administration. Mr. Roe most recently served as Senior Vice President of Product Economics and Health policy for United Therapeutics Inc., a biotechnology company. He was the founder and Chairman of Covance Health Economics and Outcomes Services Inc., a contract research and developmental services company to the medical technology marketplace. Mr. Roe was also the President of Health Technology Associates, a pharmaceutical-industry consulting firm. Mr. Roe received a B.A. from Union College, an M.A. from the State University of New York at Albany and an M.A. from the University of Maryland. Mr. Roe is currently a director of Aradigm Corporation, Ista Pharmaceuticals Inc., Percusurge Inc, and Novosonics Inc.
