King Pharmaceuticals Completes Initial Dosing in Phase I Trial Involving Treatment for Chronic Diabetic Neuropathic Foot Ulcers

Aderis Pharmaceuticals’ partner, King Pharmaceuticals, today announced that King’s Phase I trial has completed the initial dosing of MRE0094, a novel adenosine A2A receptor agonist.

Hopkinton, MA - Jan 13, 2004 - Aderis Pharmaceutical's partner for MRE-0094, King Pharmaceuticals, initiated the Phase I dosing for chronic diabetic neuropathic foot ulcers. This adenosine A2A agonist is designed to utilize a novel approach to treating this condition by concentrating on the inflammation associated with such foot ulcers.
