At Aderis, we focus on disease categories in which we have the expertise and technology to quickly discover, develop and commercialize effective products. At the same time, we direct our efforts in areas where there is tremendous unmet need - both in terms of the marketplace and from the perspective of patients with few or inadequate treatment options for serious conditions.
Aderis has entered into a partnership to complete worldwide development and sales of Rotigotine, a transdermal patch to treat Parkinson's disease and Restless Legs Syndrome. We have also partnered Binodenoson, a novel pharmacological stress agent for use in cardiac imaging. This allows us to remain focused on our core cardiovascular therapeutic programs.
